I beg to differ. Since the turn of the year Ikea is offering discounts and promotions on a very frequent basis.
They had one for gift cards last week.

The bigger gap with Ikea is lack of merchandise.

Since it’s IKEA, the $15 comes in nickels and requires an Allen wrench and 45 minutes to obtain.

Last year, the Alex drawer was $69, and is now $100 per unit (for white, +$20 for blue or white).
Karlby 74″ in walnut went from $179 to $219 ($179 for birch or oak).

Now the famous 2x Alex and Karlby combo costs $419 before tax in that color combo versus $317 a year ago.

32% inflation.

It’s good this IKEA’s offer is for online too. They accommodate people who’re worried about Covid
