Update 4/30/25: According to Reuters sources it’ll be United
During jetBlue’s latest earning call President Marty St. George confirmed that jetBlue would be announcing a new airline partner in Q2 2025 (within the next two months). American Airlines released a note that it would not be renewing a partnership with jetBlue and would be suing jetBlue to recover money owed to American following the unwinding of the Northeast Alliance.
Does this mean my crappy citibank thankyou points will finally be transferable to United, since they’re now only transferable to jetblue?
Saw a JetBlue bird land in El Salvador last week but El Salvador isn’t listed as a location on their website ….
Got Barclays Hawaiian, then Barclays Aviator and now time to get Barclay JetBlue.
What credit cards would Barclays offer in couple of years?
Will Jetblue join Star Alliance?
Looks like the new partnership will be with United:

The new partner is United Airlines
If this is true, maybe it explains why there have been more JetBlue flights from Newark.
what happens in practice? I’ve never noticed any partnerships when looking at bookings or points
omg spoiler alert geez!
Gary at VFTW posted about it earlier: https://viewfromthewing.com/jetblues-deal-with-united-is-just-the-beginning-heres-why-its-bigger-than-it-looks/

Some still find it speculative, but it seems to be happening. Not significant details yet. Like, do might we get lounge access at United Clubs while flying jetBlue? Hmm.
JetBlue really should build a lounge, at least at T5 JFK. Seriously.
T5 sucks big time.
They are getting a lounge. I believe the JFK location is supposed to open sometime later this year and the Boston location is going to open sometime late next year.
*cough* (I’ll believe it when I see it..) *cough*
the AMEX lounge will probably open before JetBlue, plus their premium JetBlue cc is horrible in feature and earning. JetBlue is my primary airline since I am base out of Boston but dont see it happening unless the lounge blow Amex out
Reports have been showing Japan JAL.
