The Offer
- Kraken crypto exchange is offering a 1-2% match on any cash or crypto deposits made during October 2025. These deposits need to remain with Kraken for a year – until November 1, 2026. Minimum $1,000 deposit/transfer. No maximum. Must opt-in to promo first.
As net deposits add up across the community, the match rate can boost for everyone:
- Less than $250M in total deposits → 1% match
- $250M–$499,999,999 in total deposits → 1.5% match
- $500M or more in total deposits → 2% match (promo ends immediately)
Our Verdict
Cash deposits at Kraken are not insured, and so I personally wouldn’t think it worthwhile holding funds there for a year to get a 2% gain.
I personally don’t hold crypto, but if you do then the crypto transfer deal might be interesting. It depends if you trust Kraken to be your crypto wallet – I’m uneducated in differences between the various crypto wallets and so do your own research first. Robinhood has run similar 2% crypto match deals.
