Marriott entered the home sharing market in 2019 with Homes & Villas By Marriott International. At the time of launch until recently you could redeem 14,300 points per $100 (0.7¢), Marriott has now increase this redemption rate to 16,667 points per $100 (0.6¢ per point). Not a huge surprise to ever see a Marriott devaluation and this program hasn’t been that useful for most people due to the selection of Homes & Villas being limited and expensive.
