Update 4/1/25: Offer has been renewed/extended through June 3rd for the 4% cash deal and 3% ACAT deal. The Offer

- Moomoo brokerage is offering three promos for those who have signed up to a new Moomoo account:
- Get a bonus 4% APY on uninvested cash for 90 days, up to $20,000. That’s on top of the regular interest rate of 4.10% for 8.10% APY total.
- Get a 3% match of your first ACAT transfer. The match is limited on up to $20,000 in transfers ($600 max bonus possible).
The transfer must come to Moomoo from one of the following brokerages: Robinhood, Webull, TD Ameritrade (including ThinkorSwim), Interactive Brokers, Fidelity, E*Trade, Cash App, Charles Schwab, Ally Invest, Firstrade, or Merrill Lynch. - Transfer in $5,000 via ACH or wire and get 60 free stocks. Each stock is worth between $2 -$10 (or possibly more).
The 8.1% offer is only for new customers. The latter two offers are for new customers and for existing customers who have never made a deposit or ACAT into their account.
Our Verdict
The terms are pretty clear that all three of these can stack together. I never opened Moomoo and might get in on this offer. Here’s how I’d go about doing it:
- I’ll open a Moomoo account. I’ll open it on the offer landing page to be safe, though that doesn’t seem necessary. (I’m not aware of any special new member bonus for using a referral, but the referrer gets a bonus. No referral sharing in the comments below under any circumstances. I’m unsure if using a referral link somehow messes up this triple stack we’re trying here.)
- I’ll transfer $20,000 in cash to Moomoo. I’ll be sure to use the ACAT transfer method and not ACH. I’ll also be sure to transfer in the full $20,000 in a single transfer. This will enable me to max out the 3% match and get a $600 cash coupon. (I’ll be sure to redeem my $600 cash coupon within 6 months.) I’ll try to transfer from a brokerage who does not charge ACAT-out fees to save that cost.
- You can also choose to ACAT transfer investments (e.g. stocks or ETFs) instead of cash; I’d opt for cash since I anyway want to push in $20,000 for the 8.1% promo.
- I’ll leave the $20,000 in Moomoo for 90 days after receiving the cash coupon. This will enable me to keep the $600. I’ll also earn 8.10% interest on the funds for those 90 days. Since I typically earn around 4.10% in my regular high yield savings account, I’ll be getting an extra 4% APY which ends up around $200 extra on the $20k for those 90 days.
- After completing the $20,000 ACAT transfer, I’ll then do an ACH transfer of $5,000 and I’ll leave those funds there for 60 days after receiving the free stocks. This will allow me to get 60 free stocks which will hopefully be worth another $200-$300. (I’ll be sure to ‘draw’ the stocks before they expire, whatever that means.) I won’t earn 8.1% on this additional $5,000 since I’ve already maxed out my $20k allotment with $20,000, but I’ll still earn 4.1% on these additional funds which is respectable.
Overall, if someone has $25,000 sitting in a bank account, it appears you can net maybe ~$1,000 with this bonus: $600 from the 3% match, plus an extra ~$200 from the 8.1% rate (4% extra is worth around $200), plus let’s say $200-$300 from the 60 free stocks.
