Our Verdict
When we wrote about Ramp a few years ago the bonus was $250 and the business balance requirement was $75,000. Now the bonus is $1,000 and the balance requirement is lower at $25,000. (I imagine they use Plaid bank linking to know what your balance is.)
This is obviously an excellent deal and also gives a business owner the opportunity to try out the Ramp platform (which I know nothing about). I’m considering giving this a shot, I’ll have to consolidate some bank funds to be eligible. We’ll likely add this to our list of Best Credit Card Bonuses in the business section.

Has anyone tried to verify the affiliate link offers with Ramp itself?
Offer terms are displayed on the Ramp website after clicking the affiliate links. What else would you wish to verify?
Do you need to maintain the $25k in account for 90 days or just long enough to get paid out after meeting spend?
So there’s no hard pull on this and it doesn’t report to personal credit?
Applied through the first link on the other page. Real LLC (2.5 years), real ecom business with $5k/mo+ in projected spend, even linked to quickbooks… still went to manual review. Will update in a few days. Axos biz account did not work, but linked to US Bank biz account.
Thanks. Interested in your results.
Does the US bank account have to be specifically a business account? Or can a consumer/personal checking or savings account work?
I was just approved for a card using sole prop, it’s an option in the application, so thought I’d give it a shot, this also let me use the sole prop biz account I have with the required 25k in funds.
for website I just put: notapplicable.com to get past that field.
the financial documents aren’t required (at least for sole prop), but listed as ‘recommended’. I did not upload any, and was still approved.
What did you use for email?
I have a custom domain that I use for email (lastname.com), but I just tested a backup email address (not gmail) and that worked fine too. I guess you’ll just have to signup for an email account that’s not gmail.
zoho
Did you have to schedule the demo with them?
Not before approval, this is the first I’ve seen mention of a demo
What link did you use to apply?
1k statement credit
Gift card? No thanks
“Please enter a valid business email (not gmail.com)”
Ah yes needed to use a biz email (from “bizdomain.com” during app) can change it back to personal after it’s opened.
@googlemail.com
I tried googlemail.com and it gets you past the first offer screen but does not work at the next step when you have to verify your email. You’ll get the same error message.
Was just looking at this a bit but it’s definitely not an easy play. I have a legit LLC that I use just for bonuses and churning so figured this would be perfect for it, but it’s really not that doable.
– Requires a legit work email (they won’t accept gmail/yahoo), I have a real work email so can work around this but not ideal since it doesn’t match my LLC
-They want a link to your website, tough to work around this
-They want copies of your financials, could come up with something but wouldn’t be legit
Three pretty big hurdles for those of us who are legal LLCs but not legit businesses. I’d pass on this one unless you really have a business with the above items, website probably being the biggest issue.
Yeah, that sounds like a pain
I did this a few months ago as a $500 bonus on $1000 spend. Applied as an LLC, no credit pull, need to have $25k in biz bank account (not personal, linking by Plaid so use one of the major banks, NOT Grasshopper). Application was relatively painless, no phone questions.
Once you have the account, there is a virtual card available immediately, nice web interface, snazzy metal card. If the linked bank falls below $25k, they will shrink your credit limit within 5 biz days but you can re-link a personal account with $25k and all is well.
Hit $1k spend and paid it off, then the bonus virtual card was available the next day (as prepaid “Ramp Card” which spent similarly to prepaid Visa and can be linked in Gpay).
Note that the form of the bonus depends on the affiliate link you use. Some are $1,000 Amazon GC, $1,000 in shares etc. Read the terms carefully.
Which affiliate link did you use?
It was an affiliate link from Grasshopper (biz fin tech), found in the grasshopper offers page. And I think it actually said Amazon gift card in the offer but paid out as prepaid card.
Does this require you keep $25k for 90 days or do you just need to keep it long enough to get the business card and meet the spend?
