- How I did on that US Mint American Eagle Platinum Coin by Travelwithgrant. These coins didn’t end up being a hot item and the Mint finally removed the purchase limits after some time. Always good to have reminders about things that can go wrong.
- I enjoyed reading this review of the Bluebird era on Frequentmiler. I came in after the Amex prepaid day, in the peak of the Bluebird/Walmart/VR days. Nostalgia. Amex sold off their Bluebird/Serve prepaid line and it remains to be seem how this will play out after the sale is complete.
- Check your Amex cards for $15 off $75 at Park N Fly
- Today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) are BofA Museums on Us days where you can go to select museum for free with a BofA credit or debit card (Thanks FQF for the reminder)
- A churner’s T-Shirt on Amazon for $12 (that’s our affiliate link). That’s cheaper than the 5/24 T-Shirt Sucks which is $19.
LOL. The name on the credit card: Bernie N Churner. Hilarious.
I bought this churning tshirt like a month back. I like it a litte better because the CC graphic is nicer

Thank you so much DoC! I’ll be visiting Chicago tomorrow and will definitely check out museums!!
Already $13.99 now less than thirty minutes after posting. WTF.
I thought it was just because of the T-shirt color I was looking at! Well forget that!
Wow, weird
Someone posted a link on Reddit- we’re at $15.99 now folks!
They probably raised the price based on hits to the listing.
This T shirt would have been helpful at Stop and Shop yesterday when i was asked “your purpose for the gift cards?”
Point to your shirt and smile 🙂
I hate that question, do they ask people their purpose for buying condoms or for buying cigarettes?
That’s it. Next time someone asks my purpose for the gift cards I’m going with “for condoms and cigarettes”.
Apparently there’s this ridiculous scam where fraudsters call up people pretending to be the IRS. They’ll claim the person owes all sorts of taxes and to settle they’ll need to buy a bunch of iTunes gift cards or similar (!!!) to settle their debt. Some people are stupid enough to fall for it, and that’s one reason why store’s are checking.
My response is “GIFT cards”… it’s in the description of the product.
LOL! Crying and tearing at the same time!
