- Uber’s CEO Predicts the U.S. Will Have Flying Cars Within 10 Years by Bloomberg. Cool, I thought you were going to have flying taxis in Los Angeles by 2020 though? Uber is so full of it it’s unbelievable. My prediction is that Uber will continue to make stupid predictions to try and get some media attention.
- Lounge users in line for upgraded service at Hong Kong airport as Cathay Pacific changes manager by South China Morning Post. Cathay Pacific is moving from Plaza Premium to Sodexo.
- OpenTable Devaluing Rewards Again — In Three Ways by View From The Wing. I already thought this program was pretty lame, now it’s even worse. Seems like there is much more competition in this space now and OpenTable is only getting worse.
- Send Free Care Package To US Troops From Crown Royal. You get to pick four items and you can include a little note as well.
Great look on the care package Will and team!
Thanks for this. I sent a package and posted the link a few places where people will see it.
Sent a care package as well. I have been deployed and know how cool it is to get mail, even if it’s corny reading or some airplane-sized snacks . Suggestions on things to write, besides “get home safe” – a silly joke, some random facts about you, or a little bit about the latest movie you went to see.
I put a real e-mail address, just in case they do send the e-mail to the service member… because never know, they might write back. Nowadays even remote locations have access to e-mail, at least occasionally.
I used a real email id for the same reason. I am hoping I won’t get spammed but in case I do, I have trained my spam filter well so it can deal with it 🙂
Sent the free care package. Just added a note and entered a fake email address. Simple gesture that can hopefully make someone smile. Hopefully a few of us can do it.
