  • Samsung Pay is offering up to $20 in rewards for linking PayPal.
    • Receive $5 for linking PayPal to Samsung Pay (just this deal I believe)
    • Make 5 purchases and earn 2,500 Samsung Rewards points, can be redeemed for $15 with GrubHub

  • Valid until December 15th, 2018

Our Verdict

Should be a fairly easy $20 in rewards for a lot of people, although I suspect most have already done the $5 for linking.

Also bizarre that it costs 1000 points for a $10 GrubHub coupon but 2000 points for a $15 Grubhub coupon?

I’ve done 5 transactions (including the first one where I got the $5 PP credit) but the app only shows 3/5 completed. How do I gripe to Samsung to get the points credited?

Aren’t samsung rewards points nearly completely devalued? If all I’m getting is a $15 off $25 grubhub coupon, I can’t even use that out in the burbs and I’m not sure I would if I could. Other than that it seems to be sweepstakes entries and Samsung phone attachments.

This offer is almost useless. The $15 GrubHub code can only be used on $25 (or more) purchases. Jerks don’t tell you this in advance.

Even though the description says it’s $15 off $25, sometimes the code works for $15+ transactions. YMMV.

I added it and now cant find the promo in samsung pay.

You cannot use a credit card from your PayPal profile. You can only use a bank account or debit card to pay via the linked PayPal account. According to Samsung Pay, “We’ll automatically ‘top up’ your balance from your bank or debit card if you don’t have enough when you use Samsung Pay.

Jokes on them. The bank account and debit card linked to my paypal account have been closed.
