Senior Park Pass Will Officially Increase To $80 (From $10) On August 28th

At the moment it’s currently possible to purchase a lifetime Senior Park Pass or $10, there has been rumors about a possible price increase for some time (we first covered this back in April). They have now officially announced the following changes:

  • On August 28th the price will be increasing to $80 (from $10) for the lifetime park pass
  • They will also be introducing an annual pass for $20

Due to these changes demand seems to be at an all time high so they recommend purchasing the pass directly if you need it before the changes take place (this also gets you out of the $10 handling fee per pass as well), otherwise order online and expect a wait of up to nine weeks. As long as your order is postmarked by August 27th you will pay the $10 rate. This pass is for permanent residents and citizens that are over the age of 62. Provides entrance or access to pass owner and accompanying passengers in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle at Federal operated recreation sites across the country.
