I believe the new user gets an extra $100 when using a referral link, and this can stack with the the 4% bonus. Since you’re signing up with a referral code and not on the 4% promo page, you’ll have to add code BIGDEAL on the summary page prior to funding in order to be eligible for the 4% deal. (you need to go to Manage->Summary to separately add the promo code BIGDEAL prior to funding). Can also add &promotionalCode=BIGDEAL to the end of a referral link
