Had high hopes for Slice app, their ads on tv claimed “no crazy fees”, but then I browse my local options, and most had delivery fees of $8 or so. To me that’s ballpark crazy. Don’t see the point of this app when UE or DD is cheaper. Will check out the pickup option.
They charge a fixed fee even for pickup….
No slice.
Hadn’t ordered delivery from UE lately….but did today – even with the Eats Pass (free delivery) now includes a min. $3.5-$5.00 Service fee depending on order size, plus another $2.50 “Temp. Local fee”. then add tip on top of that it’s $10-15 in tips/fees and jacked up app prices.
The monthly Gold/Play UE credit basically goes to fees and tips.
