Can confirm deal is still alive but you have to manipulate the cart after entering it. Was able to place an order with it, and used ShopRunner ($50 minimum) at 11:25 PM EST
I think the guy is just trolling y'all. ShopRunner requires a $50 minimum so it shouldn't be a valid way to check out if the coupon code was applied successfully.
Not sure about the shoprunner, but agree on trolling part.
