Tally is a service that offers a line of credit that is used to pay off your credit card bills, you then pay Tally. You need to add at least one card and have a minimum interest-bearing balance of $1,000 across all credit cards.
The Fine Print
- Referral rewards capped at $599.99 per individual each calendar year
- In order for the Tally participant to receive a referral award, the Referee must become an active user and have a minimum interest-bearing balance of $1,000 across all registered cards.
Our Verdict
We’ve seen a $50 bonus via Groupon before. Keep in mind with this offer you need interest-bearing balance of $1,000+ across all cards, so I assume balances under the grace period won’t qualify. Tally charges an interest rate of 7.9% – 19.9%, don’t really see how that is cheaper than a credit card itself. I didn’t think the $50 bonus was worth doing, but for $100 and a chance at some referrals it might be. Just make sure you don’t get in the habbit of not paying balances in full as that will be much more expensive than $100. It’s a hard pull as well so probably still not worth doing.
