Our Verdict

Don’t think I’ve ever seen either this cheap. You can get rid of the special offers by using Amazon chat (you basically just ask and they do it), special offers are basically just ads on the lock screen so really not that bad anyway. I love my paperwhite and read on it frequently, personally I’d pay the extra $30 but the $9.99 option would be make a fantastic cheap gift as well. For more prime day deals read this post.
