Our Verdict
Another fantastic amex offer. Lowe’s has third party gift cards, although you’ll need to purchase them in store – more information on that here.
Purchased $250 in gift cards on December 10th & the $50 statement credit was applied to my AMEX account on December 14th.

Second time I’ve got this after using it up once already this year, and it’s super great on the Lowe’s Business Rewards Card from Amex…especially with the new redemption options! 5% discount + 2% cash back + $50 statement credit on $263.16+ at Lowe’s, hurray!

Does Lowe’s report L3 data to Amex? Is it safe to buy gift cards using this?

Don’t know about L3 data but I got $200 “home inmprovement” credit on Delta Plat earlier this year by purchasing Amazon GC in store at Lowe’s.
Doesn’t matter… the offer doesn’t exclude regular physical gift cards you buy at the store.
I had no problem going into Lowe’s, buying $250 in AGC, and getting the credit.
