Barclaycard has been sending out a number of targeted spending offers to their cardholders, check your e-mail account to see if you’re targeted for any. Some people have very limited success in getting some of these promotions added to their account when they weren’t targeted in the past.
It seems that these offers are mostly being sent out to people that don’t have much existing spend on these cards.

- Receive 15,000 bonus when you spend $500 or more in the following months: July, August and September
- 2x Points At supermarkets, electronics store and drugstores. Register by July 20th and promotion runs until September 30th (starts on July 1st), maximum of 2,000 bonus points
Some people have also reported receiving both of these offers and presumably they stack.

- Receive 10,000 bonus points when you spend $250 or more in the following months:Â July, August and September
- Earn 2x bonus points (three points per dollar spent in total) in the following categories: Restaurants, electronics stores and amusement parks. Register by July 20th and promotion runs until September 30th (starts on July 1st), maximum of 2,500 bonus points
I’ve also heard that more people will be targeted for these offers (and other offers for other Barclaycard products) starting July 1st. So if you haven’t received one yet, don’t worry you might get lucky in a few days.
