Check your emails to activate one of the following offers from Citi: (subject: <your name>, your limited-time offer has arrived.)

• Activate and earn an additional 1 point per $1 spent, up to 2,500 ThankYou Points, on eligible purchases made with your card, including purchases at: Gas Stations, Grocery Stores, Restaurants, Retail Shopping. Valid through 3/31/26.
• Activate and earn an additional 4 point per $1 spent, up to 2,500 ThankYou Points, on eligible purchases made with your card, including purchases at: Online Retailers. Valid through 3/31/26.
• Activate and earn an additional 9 point per $1 spent, up to 2,500 ThankYou Points, on eligible purchases made with your card, including purchases at: Gas Stations, Grocery Stores, Restaurants, Retail Shopping. Valid through 3/31/26.
• Some offer versions add Transit and Commute categories.

Our Verdict

I got the 1x offer on my Custom Cash card- stacks well for someone who selects Grocery or Dining or Gas as their monthly 5% category. Obviously the 9x version is an excellent offer, albeit with the 2,500 bonus points limit. The other offer for 4x on Online Retailers is interesting as well. There are likely other versions out there.
