If they eliminate resort feeS they will just add similar amount to base room rate. I hear Expedia gets no cut of Resort Fee. The market sets what you pay. The Resort can’t just say give me extra 40$ for no reason without market support.

I have few questions. Please help if anyone is aware.
1. If I book comp rooms now and if I could not make it, do I still need to pay resort fee or I don’t have to pay anything if I don’t go?
2. If I book comp rooms now and if I want to cancel those later, will they charge any fee?
3. If I book comp rooms now and then if I want to change to different dates (on which comp stays are available at this point), how much will they charge?

Read the terms.
I’ve booked comps through these targeted offers and later canceled with no penalty.

You don’t have to pay anything if you cancel at least three days before your stay. If you cancel and the offer isn’t available anymore (in this case after February 29) and they don’t send you another offer you can’t rebook it for other dates (that includes changing dates as you need to cancel and rebook to make changes, unless the change is leaving earlier which you can always do up to check-in.)
As explained in the other comments the resort fees are a killer.

Stacks with MyVegas/MyKonami Rewards. (desktop and mobile platforms)
$40/night resort fees at all comped MGM Vegas properties are more tolerable if we also get Freeplay, Cheap Aria Buffets, and dates that coincide with a geezer concert (eg Aerosmith) that we want to attend.

Signature MGM is top quality. Non smoking non gaming hotel connected to MGM Grand Hotel.

Signature is the one property not included in the offer. I received the offer, and checked everywhere but couldn’t find Signature even after clicking through just to MGM.

Most properties are offering me 3 nights about 4 are offering 4 nights.

I gamble in Vegas and at MGM properties though so this offer is Standard for me. Just the date range is extended later than usual.

The main thing I don’t like is the “resort fees” which for a 4 night stay can be over $150.

How much are you usually gambling to get 4 nights free?

I don’t gamble much. Maybe a few hundred dollars over a trip. Like MM I also see 3 or 4 nights in both this offer and my gaming offer. For me those nights, often consecutive during weekdays, are at the cheaper hotels like CircusCircus, Excalibur, or Luxor. Some high rollers may receive this for upscale resorts. Don’t forget the scam resort fees @ $40 / night. Free is not free in this city for most people.
