Citi is taking UP DA BUTT dude…
Does make you wonder, now that the Costco floodgates have opened to all Visa cards, if Citi planned for as much siphoning off of Costco business as will undoubtedly happen with all these other bank promos. While Amex had a pure lock on it, Citi will be far from that. They knew they’d only get a % of that overall business, but I wonder if they planned for all the other bank promos to be as fast & furious as they’ve been.
I don’t think Citi would mind that much as Costco negotiated an extremely low rate through them and Visa anyway. They’d be more concerned about the # of new sign ups and how much existing cardholders are spending outside of Costco.

I can’t find the master list of merchants and their payment options (e.g Costco can auto drain VGC, Amazon will let you split purchase between 30 different cards) can you help me out please?
I’ve tried random googling of “DoC merchant list” etc. to no avail
