Our Verdict
Interesting timing given they have just launched the premium $450 annual fee version of this card with a bonus of only 30,000 miles. The highest targeted bonus we’ve seen on this card is 45,000 miles, so this is slightly below that but worth considering if you value Korean miles as it’s unlikely you’ll see a higher offer than this. These offers were sent out via mail, let me know if anybody sees it by checking for pre-approved offers. You can also transfer additional miles from SPG, Chase & Diners Club. Make sure you read these things you should know about U.S. credit cards before you consider applying as well.
Can I use someone else invite code? my friend was targeted.
I recently took a trip with Korean Air and received the letter.
I have several DPs indicating that flying (first time?) in F with Korean triggers 45K offer for personal card ($80 AF) and 50K offer for business ($75).
So, I don’t believe there is any connection between the newly introduced card and these targeted offers, which were at least for a year now.
can us bank be combined with other offers?

Any idea how to get targeted? Maybe sign up for Skypass?
That hasn’t worked for me so far.
It worked for me in the past, I got a mailer offer for the personal version… sadly never got an offer mailer for this biz card.
This also “worked” for me, though it look ~16 months for KE/USB to target me after creating the account
Both myself and spouse have KE Skypass accounts. Only spouse received the offer. Main difference is that UR points were transferred and used to book our flights on spouse’s KE account. We’ve never used KE for anything prior.
What do you mean by “interesting timing”? Would love to get more clarification on what your thought process is, even if it’s speculation.
Just seems weird to offer a higher sign up bonus on an $80 AF card vs $450 AF card. If I was trying to push sign ups to the new premium card I wouldn’t be offering a better bonus on the lower AF version.
So you think they are already giving up on the $450 AF card, is it that USB has no clue on how to market a credit card?
I don’t think they are giving up on it, just bad marketing.
I got this mailer, but I doubt US Bank will approve me for anything now, sitting at 25/24.
I got a no annual fee card offer with $50 statement credit and 10,000 miles
I wish I would get the biz version offer for this card… I would sign up right away.
