The Fine Print

Avoiding Fees
The easiest account to keep fee free is the convenience checking account, you just need a minimum monthly balance of $100 to waive the $10 monthly fee.
Early Account Termination Fee
In their online fee schedule, there is no mention of an early account termination fee. Whereas on this help page they say there is an early account termination fee of $15 if you close the account within 90 days. That page does redirect to the Canadian site so that may be the difference. In any case, we’ll be cautious and say to keep the account for 90 days before closing.
Our Verdict
It’s difficult to properly value this bonus, as we don’t know how much TD Bank will value the Polaroid Cube+ for. If they value it at $150 and you’re interested in getting one anyway, then this is a really easy bonus to complete. TD Bank have offered $150 bonuses in the past, with basically the same requirements (you were required to put 15 debit card transactions through) so I’d just wait for that instead.
Keep in mind you can’t get this bonus if you have/had any previous relationship with TD Bank (I assume this includes their credit cards as well), so most people in the target areas will be excluded anyway. You can view the best bank bonuses by clicking here.
