Purchased showed from Nike using my bday coupon discount 20% off and the retail cost tracked @ 10% CB. Along with $3 Bonus when it states it would be $2.50. So far I only had 1 of these 2-3 bonus not post. I use Chrome.

Doc really should stop promoting TopCashBack. 50% of the time, it doesn’t track correctly. Yes you can reach out to support, but that always takes another 3-4 months for them to resolve the issue. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Even though I have tracking issues sometimes, I appreciate the promo notices on DoC, since no other deal site will talk about CB sites.

Haven’t had any issues, and those that didn’t track, it was fixed (but that is rare).
I appreciate DoC listing TOP since this is the only way that I know they got promo.
I’m with Momo. No other CB site gets more negative comments than TCB. For many of us the payout is the issue we do not experience on this scale with other CB sites. It just seems wrong to keep promoting these greedy bastards without a disclaimer for all the bad experiences the readers share.
So, it’s up to the readers to give the feedback in the comments section. I’m at least glad we’re able to do that without edit on this site. Readers need informed choices, I think we all can agree to that.
I think no other cash back site other than Swag Bucks gets as many comments because no other sites see the volume of Doctor of Credit users.
In the one time that cash back didn’t track properly, they explained that the merchant refused to pay the correct cash back amount and then made good on the total amount of cash back due.
Agree, had a couple issues with them not tracking. But seeing the offers here on doc far exceed the few. I’m also a lite and casual user of portals.

Since people always complain about TCB I’ll offer a counterpoint, 14 of 14 tracking for me since I started using it a little over a year ago. 6 are still pending (they take a long time to clear and become payable) but haven’t had any issues with them not tracking. The bonus on this one even tracked as $3 for me instead of $2.50, not sure why.

In two years, 59/66 transactions tracked with no issues and 7 required support tickets. Eventually I was paid for everything. I still use rakuten sometimes if the rate is similar as they pay faster, but if the rate is x2 or more on TCB (which is typical) it’s a no-brainer for me. I am using a separate Chrome profile for shopping with no extensions and no anti-tracking features enabled.

Topcashback is a perfect example of a type of ponzi scheme. Each time they have a deal, they only pay out to 90% of the people and keep the money from the other 10% and use it to offer higher cashback to everyone else. The sheer number of people who complain about them clearly shows that there are issues. Like most people, you will keep on using them until you personally have a problem.
You remind me of people who swear that JetBlue Airlines is the best airline in the world even though they have a 10% higher cancellation rate and delay rate than every other airline. The people who use them will keep on using them until they personally experience a cancellation where they will have a vacation ruined or a business meeting they miss.
While anything is possible, I imagine they would have gone out of business by now if it was a ponzi scheme. It is much more likely that it is just a combination of user-side issues (cookies, tracking features, etc.), crappy web programming and way too many third parties.

It took 19 weeks to get the $2.50 from this summer.
That’s because you don’t get the $2.50 until the order pays out.
Office Depot/Office Max’s payout time is 19 weeks.
TCB always offers one of the highest cash back amounts, but half the time the purchase doesn’t get tracked and I have to put in a support ticket. Tempted to just go with Rakuten from now on because their tracking is better and I usually have zero issues with them.
Currently waiting on TopCashback to acknowledge $178 worth of cash back on an HP computer. We shall see…

Same (even with clean browser and TCB extension), but luckily Dominique has been good at fixing things.
Rakuten CS is the best. They reply extremely fast and solve issues quickly. TCB is so much slower but, from my experience, they always pay out. It’s up to you to weight if the 1-2% extra on TCB is worth the hassle!

The reason payout will take a bit more time is because we are the only cashback site to date that doesn’t keep a portion of cashback, we offer our members 100% of the cashback, so we have to wait for the retailers to release the funds over to us before passing them to our members.

Exactly. I am waiting to get 70$ cashback from TCB. Was a simple HP.com transaction. After raising a ticket with TCB support. They are casually telling me that it will take 3 months. What a Joke. Rakuten portal is almost instant and never had any issue, even though it has a bit less percentage offer on almost all websites than TCB.
I had around $80 for Rakuten on Lenovo.com that didn’t track. Rakuten CS kept me updated, mostly about never getting a response from Lenovo, but paid out as a goodwill credit. Also I’ve had in the range of 19 out of 20 track and pay on TCB but it’s not fast. I think clearing cookies, disabling some antivirus anti tracking features helps with this and swag bucks. I don’t think the business model is to get a bad reputation.

Not sure why DOC promotes TCB so hard almost everyday. I understand DOC needs ad money and promotion money to survive but please choose better partners. TCB is not an honest rebate website from my experience and they will find all kinds of reasons to deny your rebates.
