United has announced that effective immediately United miles will no longer expire. Previously United miles would expire after 18 months of inactivity. Both JetBlue & Delta already have a policy of miles not expiring. As part of this announcement United is also allowing customers to purchased previously expired miles at a 30% discount. Overall this is a positive change from United.
