(Update 9/20/25: There can potentially be a fourth stack by using the $250 2026 hotel one-time hotel credit in conjunction with The Edit credit, if there’s a hotel in The Edit which is also from the list of eligible hotels for the $250 2026 one-time hotel credit.)
The revamped Chase Sapphire Reserve card and the brand new Sapphire Reserve for Business card come with a $250 ‘The Edit’ credit which can be used twice per year, once from Jan-June and once from Jul-Dec. The Edit is Chase Bank’s luxury hotel booking portal which also gives perks like breakfast, $100 property credit, late check-out.
Only select premium hotels are available on the platform which makes the $250 credit of limited use. The credit is only available on stays of at least 2 nights which limits it further.
The good news is that it appears to be possible to triple stack a The Edit hotel bookings to get a $250 The Edit credit, $300 Travel Credit, and 2 cents-per-point Points Boost. For example, suppose you’re booking a 2 night stay which costs $600:
- Use 17,500 Ultimate Rewards points to cover $350 of the cost.
- Cost that shows up on your credit card will be the remaining $250.
- You’ll get your $250 The Edit credit as a statement credit on your card.
- You’ll also get a $250 Travel Credit as a statement credit on your card from the same purchase. (You’ll have $50 remaining on your Travel credit for the year.)
From what we’re hearing you’ll always/usually be able to use the Points Boost feature to get 2 cents-per-point on The Edit hotel bookings.
