The Fine Print
- This appears to be a targeted promotion, if you don’t see the offer listed then you will not get the bonus
- Offer valid until
December 31st, 2014January 15th, 2014 - $5 statement credit will be applied to your account 10-12 weeks after the promotional period ends
Our Verdict
This is kind of a lame bonus compared to the other credit card issuers that are also trying to promote Visa checkout:
- Free $10 for PNC Debit/Credit Cardholders with Visa Checkout
- Free $10 Visa Gift Card for Bank of America Credit/Debit Cardholders
The fact that it’s targeted make things even worse. That said, free money is free money so it’s well worth seeing if you were targeted for this promotion or not.
