• American Express is offering a 20% discount on some eGiftcards when you pay with points. For example, you can redeem 4,000 points for a $50 Home Depot gift card (normally it would cost 5,000 points). Discount available on the following brands:
  • Home depot
  • CB2
  • Crate and Barrel
  • Delta
  • The land of Nod
  • Itunes

The Fine Print

• Valid until June 30th, 2017

Our Verdict

They had a similar deal last year but the discount was 25% instead of only 20%. Seems to be highly targeted as well, people that were targeted didn’t report receiving an e-mail about it so I’ve marked it as YMMV for now. This means you’re able to cash out your points for 1.25¢ in gift cards, not a terrible deal for some. If anybody is targeted and is able to take a picture (along with a list of eGiftcards eligible) that would be awesome.
