The Offer
- Bank of America is offering 120,000 points after $2,000 in spend on the first 90 days of account opening on the Sonesta Mastercard. You also get:
- 5,000 additional points after adding an authorized user within the first 90 days of account opening
- 30,000 bonus points on your Account Anniversary, if you spend at least $7,500 on purchases in the anniversary year

- Card earns at the following rates:
- Â points on eligible Sonesta purchases
- Â points on eligible airfare, car rental and dining purchases
- Â point for every $1 spent on all other purchases

Our Verdict
Points seem to be worth 0.75¢ – 1.5¢ towards Sonesta properties depending on the location and date. Properties cost between 10,000 and 50,000 points per night with most properties costing anywhere from 10,000-30,000 points.
