The Offer
eBay sent out another one of their targeted bonus Bucks offers, last one before the month of April when we don’t typically see Bucks offers at all and eBay Bucks reset.
- Get 10% back in Bucks on most items purchased on eBay with no minimum
- Get 20% back in Bucks on the fashion category on eBay with no minimum
These offers are valid March 29 and March 30, until midnight PT.
What to Buy
If you have any fashion items (clothing, jewelry, health/beauty) items to buy, 20% Bucks is unbeatable and the highest we’ve ever seen. The other route is to buy gift cards to places you would shop anyway and get an effective 10% discount on them.
Lots of popular gift card deals are on sale now, including Hyatt, Lowe’s, gas gift cards, Toys R Us, and more. Combining the Bucks offer and the discount itself can make for quite a deal.

Stack the Deal
- Buy discounted gift cards
- Get 10% back in Bucks if you were targeted
- Go through iConsumer for 3% back or Splender for 2% back or Shopathome for their $5 promo or the shopping portal of your choice
- For fashion, use Ebates for 3% back on that category
- Pay with eBay gift cards which are now unlimited
- Or pay with INK for 5x on PPDG purchases
Gift Card Reselling
After the 10% Bucks offer, a whole lot of these can be good moneymakers, especially if you have eBay gift cards which you purchased at a discount. Let’s assume a 5% discount due to the use of eBay gift cards or the use of INK for PPDG purchases, and let’s assume 2% back from the portal. All together that’s around 17% off already discounted gift cards when adding Bucks + portal + payment method.
Gas Gift Cards
Depending on which gas brand you buy and which exchange you sell to, gas gift cards can be sold for 86% – 90% of their face value. Let’s assume a sale price of 88% of its value.
- Pay $92 per card
- Get 17% off with Bucks + portal + payment = $15.64
- Sell for $88 (88%)
- Net: $11.64
That’s $11.64 per card, and you buy 3 per gas brand.
Other Options
The Toys R Us deal can make sense for resell, as can Overstock, Jiffy Lube, and some others.
Hyatt can be an awesome deal for personal use.
Our Verdict
I maxed out my $500 in quarterly Bucks allowance, and it’s probably for that reason I didn’t get targeted for this offer. For those who got this, it could really make sense to try buying up any fashion items you need, or stock up on gift cards you’ll use, and lock in the 10% discount now.
