The Offer
- Purchase $100 of ANY gift cards and receive a $15 credit to use on your next shopping order.
It sounds like even Visa gift cards would get the offer, but the ad isn’t public yet and it’s hard to read the fine print in the copy I saw (page 11). Certainly all merchant gift cards are included, such as gas, eBay, Amazon, etc. The exception is only Shoprite gift cards which are not included.
The Fine Print
- Must use Price Plus card at the time of purchase (and possibly at the time of redemption)
- Valid 11/1/15 – 11/7/15
- Limit one per customer
- $15 coupon can not be used to purchase gift cards, tobacco, and a few other things
- $15 coupon will print on the receipt; make sure to keep the receipt
- $15 coupon can be used from 11/8/15 – 11/14/15
Our Verdict
This offer is pretty generous since it allows the purchase of any gift card to trigger the offer and I’m guessing that Visa or Mastercard gift cards will work as well. If you like purchasing those anyway, then the $15 is an added bonus.
The big question remains as to how the ‘Limit one per customer” is enforced. My hunch is that it just means to limit us to one coupon per transaction and that it’s a repeatable deal, but I can’t say this for sure. Note that even if it ends up being repeatable, you’ll probably have to redeem the $15 credits one at a time in separate purchases of $15+ each.
