Our Verdict
Gone are the days of massive cash back on American Express gift cards, 2% cash back seems to be about as good as it gets (standard rate is 1.5% cash back through topcashback). If you’ve got a good way of unloading American Express gift cards, then you might as well stock up.
As always be wary of cash advance fees, especially on Citi credit cards. I typically make sure I set my cash advance limit to less than my total purchase (or just set it to zero).
