Our Verdict
There are lots of ways to get eBay gift cards at a better discount, but what makes this interesting is that you can pay with the Chase INK card and that’s been working to get 5x points for PPDG purchases.
Also, although the portal doesn’t usually include eBay gift cards, the e-gift cards often work regardless. Befrugal is now offering 3.2% on eBay! This may work to trigger that.
You can also buy this eBay gift card with an eBay gift card purchased previously.
Note that there seems to be a $1k limit of PPDG purchases on eBay, which can be made per rolling 30-days.

I keep getting an error message when using gift cards to pay, “Can’t Be Applied To Your Order”. This new checkout system sucks! If I don’t get that message, it will sometimes take my first gift card. After that, the next gift card I enter removes the first card and applies the new one so I can’t pay it all with a gift card. Anyone else having this problem? It’s so annoying and of course ebay and paypal say it’s an issue, but give no solution as usual.
many of us are… but in my case the issue is that I am at $5k rolling over the last 6 months… since most of us do the same deals I assume you are too… check your ebay gift card usage for the last 6 months and see if you’re close to crossing $5K.

I must have hit the $1K limit. I keep getting error code 70245 every time I try to make the purchase. Anyone else if experiencing this?
uh… these discounts are getting worse and worse… i think even with Ink i’ll skip this one.
If I do this one it’ll only be with using other ebay gift cards to make the purchase. Picked up $130 from GYFT at $10 off, and another $100 from ebay at $5 off last week, so I might use those to pick this up for another $5 off.
Puts me $200 closer to the 1k limit though so may not be worth using up my limit.
