Stacking the Deal
- Get 2% back from the Shopathome portal or use Topcashback to get the 2% rate matched (we recommend Topcashback for eBay purchases). Or get 5+ Aeroplan miles per dollar.
- Get 2% back in eBay Bucks.
- Use up eBay gift cards purchased at a discount or use up eBay Bucks from last quarter (expiring soon!).
- If you are paying with a credit card, use Chase INK for the e-gift cards sold by Paypal Digital Gifts on eBay as these have been earning 5x points with the Chase INK cards. The physical cards are sold by Giftcardmall or Cardency and only earn regular rewards; you can pay with you ATT Access More card to get 3x points.
Reselling Angle
Not much opportunity for resale here.
There could be a play on the Gamestop gift cards which can be sold to Saveya for 83.5. You’ll break-even on the sale and profit the portal and Bucks and INK points.
Babies R Us is also interesting. You should be able to sell the physical card for 83%. You’ll lose 2%, but gain almost 4% from the Bucks and portal. Could be a way to use up some eBay gift cards or to help meet a minimum spend.
Overstock can be interesting if you have a good way of selling e-gift cards, but it won’t work for most people. Same goes for Sephora.
