Here is a little recap of blog posts from around the web that I’ve found interesting.
- BREAKING: Expedia Canceling Hotel Bookings Citing Made Up Terms by Miles to Memories. Disappointing, but not surprising. This is particularly annoying because we actually had clear terms & conditions for this offer. Thankfully, Miles to Memories also found a work around for this, make sure to read this post to see how you might be able to get your booking honored.
- The Crazy 5% by Mile Nerd. Good rant that I completely agree with. Being a blogger sucks sometimes and it’s a shame bloggers like Mile Nerd are getting hate when they actively pass on affiliate commissions to save readers money. If you like the content that a blogger writes, do them a favor and let them know. I’m trying to be more positive in 2015 and I’ll be doing a lot more shout out posts to other bloggers that I respect and enjoy reading. If you like a blogger, tell them. Share their stuff. It will make their day and only reinforces their already good behavior.
- Must Read If You Are Or Thinking About Being A US Bank Customer by Chasing The Points. Seems to be a never ending circle of free stuff from U.S Bank. I love learning new things and this post contain one or two useful tidbits.
- More good news: Barclaycard Arrival+ no longer rounds up redemption amounts by Free-quent Flyer. I’ve also been liking how Barclaycard has slowly been improving this product, it was nice to see a list of all the other improvements they’ve made. This is just more good news.
- Free Money From Lowe’s and a Small MS Opportunity – Possibly More by Miles Remaining. These type of card readers usually shut you down pretty quickly for MS, but the rebate deal might make it worth it for some.
The pay anywhere card reader sounds pretty interesting. Have you read any other blogs on it’s potential for MS? The comments from the link you included didn’t seem too favorable.
Thanks for keeping it real.
