- PayPal Launches PayPal.me, a New Digital Payment Service by LowCards. I don’t really see how this is much more convient that normal Paypal/any of the other competitors, but each to their own I guess.
- Â Google Wallet relaunches as a Venmo and Square Cash rival by The Verge. Old Google wallet to become Android Pay and new Google Wallet will focus on focused on sending money easily using your debit card/bank account.
- Debit/Credit Card Receipt Class Action Lawsuit Investigation by Top Class Actions. This is only at the very beginning stages, I typically wait until a settlement has already been reached and then send in my claim but you might want to participate earlier if you’ve been unhappy with these unsafe practices.
- JetBlue Just Rented Itself a Quality Frequent Flyer Program, and Made the Airline More Attractive by View From The Wing. JetBlue & Singaporea are now reciprocal mileage-earning partners. Not a big deal unless you have a lot of paid flights with either airline, but still a nice addition regardless.

- Is The Amex Platinum $200 Credit Truly Dead For Gift Cards? by Travel Codex. We’ve had a few recent reports of credits going through for non gift card purchases, so I’m still not as hopeful as Devils Advocate, but this is still very much a wait and see type of deal.
- Indispensable News Source: Global Entry Has a New Benefit and Buy an A380-Capable European Airport for $10,000 by View From The Wing. The bit I was interested in is the new Global Entry benefit, basically Mexico is setting up their own similar version of TSA PreCheck called Programa Viajero Confiable which will be available to those with Global Entry. Nice little addition and I imagine most readers have Global Entry already from one of the myriad of credit cards that offer a credit reimbursement for it.
