- New blogs worth reading? by PFdigest. Totally agree with Oren’s Money Saver & Money Metagame making the list, I’d probably include Miles Per Day as well. If you think any are missing comment on PFDigest’s post.
- American and Expedia Expand Partnership by MJ on Travel. Don’t know why more airlines don’t do this, they are surely missing out on incremental revenue because of it. I know they want to drive traffic to their site, but not offering these types of paid upgrades on OTA’s isn’t the way to do it.
- As Good As Expected – I Earned 11K Points/Miles + $46 in Rewards for no out of pocket cost using Ninja Tricks! by Miles to Memories. Good to see he got a better than originally thought reimbursement for his lost iPad.
- CFPB Monthly Complaint Snapshot Spotlights Credit Reporting Complaints by CFPB. Interesting to see that complaints are up by about 50% year on year, I wonder how much of that is driven by more consumers knowing about the CFPB and how to file a complaint vs the number of potential complaints being made rising.
- (Targeted?) AA Executive Platinum challenge – top status for only 25K flown miles by Points With A Crew. Quarter of the miles you usually need. Hopefully if you sign up you still get the status even if you weren’t targeted, but beware that you might not.
- Bet You Didn’t Know: Amex Offers via the Amex Mobile App by Frequent Miler. I’ve mentioned this on Twitter before and people had mixed results seeing additional offers in the mobile app, but this is a really good primer and it’s well worth checking especially if you’re after a specific promo you don’t see on your online account.
The absolute best blog is doctor of credit. I have made a few thousand using the blog. Not all in cash but impuTed value. Thanks doc. Other blogs are fun to read and sometimea provide great insights but I am almost always pointed to them by doc. If doctor of credit was a hot woman I would marry her.
lol totally agreed with this comment except for the last sentence
Even more blogs to read? I’m finding it hard to keep up as it is!
