- American Express CEO Chenault On Thin Ice, Company Possibly in Play by Fox News. No way this is going to eventuate, but I don’t see Chenault keeping his position much longer either.
- Gift Cards Feel Pinch of New Rules by Wall Street Journal. Not sure why I never thought about the liability shift in terms of gift cards. Let’s hope they become easier to purchase with a credit card as retailers slowly adopt payment terminals that accept chip enabled cards.
- CFPB Now Accepting Complaints on Consumer Loans from Online Marketplace Lender by CFPB. Kind of surprised that they didn’t accept these complaints previously. I suspect some judgements will be passed down relatively quickly against these online market lenders.
