Really HG???
Was that comment really needed?
Damn troll.
I don’t know. I thought HG’s comment was kinda funny
On a more serious note I don’t think the comment was unwarranted Carlos.
Credit’s response to having his Serve closed seems to be to get pissed, threaten Amex, and basically be a general PITA to the customer service folks. Further, comically, Credit posts to a website specially geared toward taking advantage of these types of products ranting about how he demands to know EXACTLY what he did wrong when it is likely obvious.
Lastly, just a final point, customer service is very expensive for these companies and the more be make asses of ourselves the more they are going to clamp down on the type of behavior promoted here.
Your account was closed credit. get over it and move on.
Nope. The letter said write to us, I wrote to them. Customer service is supposed to be about serving the customer. You have a perspective that you were doing something wrong and thankful you got away with it as long as you did. I am coming from the perspective that I did everything per the book. If something was not allowed I was not allowed to do it ( e.g not load vanilla gift card)
I know they closed because I was unprofitable and yet they can’t say it. They have to make up an excuse. Maybe they will just reenable my account. Maybe a CFPB complaint will burn the bridges or maybe they will know for certain that I am no money launderer and exempt my account next time.
Just get over it is a stupid advice. This is not a test of character. Why I should or should not file the complaint is a better advice.
Stupid is a harsh word. Sorry.
Are you this clingy in your personal relationships?
I wrote a letter to serve asking why they shut me down. Talked twice to the supervisor there asking why they haven’t sent me a letter yet. He already acknowledged they received my letter.
He said why I don’t just close this and open a new one. I am thinking of filing a CFPB complaint. Another instance of grand standing by a company. If nothing else than to compel them to write a letter. I hope they don’t just write some generic BS. I asked them to provide specific instances of “unusual patten”
My guess would be they closed accounts that were unprofitable. If you just loaded and then emptied it they did not make any money. You would need to make purchases for them to make money.
