When bloggers disclose too much information, everyone attacks them for sharing the ‘secret sauce’ and killing the deals… when bloggers don’t post enough information (even when it can be inferred or gained with very minimal effort by the user) people complain that they aren’t being helpful… As you pointed out, hardly anyone even buys MC’s from giftcards.com, so if your main avenue is not impacted, why are you so concerned. I agree, perhaps this article should not have been given the top stop in Doc’s summary, but it isn’t completely useless either…
He does around a hundred thousand of MS per month at least so he usually doesn’t leave all of the details to not kill things. He will release details on deals after they are dead so you have an idea of what to look for in the future. He will also leave clues to things sometimes in his posts. You can email him and ask him – he would most likely respond to you.

This is the dilemma when blogging. If you say too much, ppl skew you for spilling the beans. When you don’t say enough, you have ppl like kingrat who say the blog and posts are useless. You can’t really win in this game.
I do notice that more experienced ppl read my blog (once they get tired of MMS) so I cater to them more by dropping hints here and there and most of them get it. If not, they usually ask me over email and I tell them. I just don’t want to disclose publicly.

I don’t know anyone who buys MC and it they could add some details like major grocery chain wont accept, UPS, etc.
This is how most of his posts are. I think he’s written before that he doesn’t make much, if any, money from his blog. He probably doesn’t have too many readers as you make a good point.
I think for people already purchasing giftcards.com GC it’s useful to know and they likely know the liquidation method MPD is talking about. I don’t really post much manufactured spending stuff anymore as it caused too many issues.

I think a lot of people use the saverocity forums and there are a lot of slack channels and other private groups out there (most are location specific). I don’t participate in any anymore to try and keep all info on this site/avoid accusations of content theft.
