- Two new Ebay Paypal schemes I’ve recently learned by Miles Per Day. I hate dealing with selling stuff on eBay, it seems like they are the new craigslist with half the people trying to scam you.
- SAS Drops Lounge Access In Multiple Cities by Travel Upgrade. Intra Europe/Asia business class has never made much sense to me. Makes even less sense without lounge or security priority.
- Turnover Tuesdays 2017 Goals by Oren’s Money Saver. I know making resolutions/goals in a new year is cliche but I actually find it really helpful to map out what I want to achieve each year. I also like to break it down by what I’ll realistically need to do every month/quarter to achieve those goals and then regularly check in.
- Why Cities Are Where They Are by Wendover Productions. Another quality video from Wendover.
Thanks for introducing me to Wendover videos. I successfully used 2 hours of my morning learning really interesting stuff, and avoided cleaning my house. Although I learned, via Wendover, that in one Quantum theory, my other self went ahead and cleaned the house. So it’s all good…in theory!
Wendover is great, really high quality and interesting topics.
It bothers me that the Cities video assumes that people in early Penn. only walked before cars. Really? Horses, Wagons & Trains came after cars? The rest is fairly well researched though.
I think walking was the major transportation method, most people wouldn’t have been able to afford trains/wagons – not sure how affordable horses were.
