Shoprite: $20 Credit with Any $100 Gift Card Purchase [12/11-12/17]

The Offer

Direct Link  (ad page 1)

  • Get $20 off your next shopping order when you purchase $100 or more in ANY gift cards

shoprite2

The Fine Print

  • Valid 12/11/16 – 12/17/16
  • Must use Price Plus card
  • Limit one per customer
  • Shoprite gift card purchase will not trigger the $20 gift credit; all other gift cards should work

Using the $20 credit:

  • Gift card certificate will print on register receipt and must be presented in order to redeem $20 on your next shopping order
  • $20 gift credit will be valid from 12/18/16-2/24/16
  • Minimum purchase of $20 required to use the $20 gift credit (excludes prescription medications, gift cards, gift certificates, postage stamp sales, as well as milk, cigarettes, tobacco products and alcoholic beverages or any other items prohibited by law)

Our Verdict

More often we get a deal for a $20 credit with $100 merchant gift card purchase, but once in a while we’ll see the offer to include ANY gift card purchase, which will include Visa/MC/Amex gift cards as well.

Best method for most of us is to buy a $500 Visa/MC gift card with a grocery credit card for bonus points. Just bear in mind that you’ll have to use the $20 credit the following week, so can’t be used in the same trip.

Went to shop Rite to buy the $100 gift card for $20 coupon and i bumped into a new offer.
They now have a special Holiday offer
Since they now deliver, if you go to
Shopritedelivers.com and spend
$200 to $400 you can add a
Free $25 shop rite gift card with code Gift25
And if you spend $400 to $700
A free $50 gift card with code Gift50
And if you spend over $700
A free $100 gift card with code Gift100
But it has to be eligible shop rite products
(You cant but $700 worth of gift cards)
And it can only be a $100 Shop Rite gift card
But you can do it 5x with each account.

my 3 SR only carry Vanilla Visa in 100.00 denominations. This am in CT, offer did not work. I even bought 2 separate orders of 22.oo each with 2 PPlus cards. Nothing printed, . the last 2 offers for the 20.00 worked perfectly. CS had to issue me 2 20.00 SR gift cards, but were trying to figure out what happened.

Hi, Thanks for this post, I did this shop rite thing twice over the last 2/3 weeks when they had the same promotion twice.
Its very good for me since i shop there weekly
And i did it on my account and gfs account
So i saved $80 and i will do it now again.
A few quick tips.
Once you buy the $100 gift card you will get a code on the reciept which the cashier has to type in the following week when you check out for the $20 off and it needs managers approval so it can take time.
Also there are not many good gift cards in shop rite (they are not Staples etc).
And their visa mastercard amex cards are only up to $50 (i couldnt find a $100 in the two brooklyn shop rites).
The only good gift cards i found and bought is Shell gas (its the only gas card they carry) and also with a gas gift card you pay the cash price at the pump.

Credit must be used between 12/18 and 12/24, not 2/24

Not going to go this year but keep in mind you can’t do multiples. It goes by once per ShopRite account. Last year that was the case

I have been to to two shoprites and they only carry vgc upto $200 variable load. One of the shop rites only carries vanilla gift cards but still a great deal since my wife and I have separate price plus cards

Do other people have the variable load VGCs at their S-Rs? Mine still only has the 200s.

You’re lucky. One near me only has $100 Vanilla Visas.
