The Offer
- Purchase $50 in Speedway gift cards from Speedway between 2/1 and 2/29, and receive a free $5 Speedway gift card.
- This offer can be found and activated in your Speedway Rewards account.
The big question here is whether this is a one-time deal or it can be repeated for $5 with each $50 gift card purchase. Let us know if you more info on this.
Stacking the Deal
Aside from the $5 bonus card, you can stack two other deal here:
- Get 5% back with Discover (doubled at year’s end for many), or 5x points with Freedom; both cards offer 5% back on gas this quarter
- Get some Speedy Reward Points as well with the purchase
Our Verdict
If this is scalable, then you can lock in over 20% discount on your Speedway gas for the year by purchasing $1500 in Speedway gift cards, getting 10% back with Discover, getting $150 in bonus gift cards, and getting some extra Speedy points for the purchase. It could be that Speedy gift cards can be used at Hess gas stations as well.
If it’s not scalable, then it’s just a nice $5 deal.
