- Citi is offering 3x miles to some Citi Executive AAdvantage cardholders in the following categories:
- Grocery stores
- Gas stations
- Drugstores
- Restaurants
- Commuter Transportation Locations
The Fine Print
- Limit of 2,500 bonus miles can be earned through this promotion ($1,250 in spend)
- May overlap with any other bonus miles you’re currently enrolled in
- Valid until March 31st, 2015
Our Verdict
The categories are pretty wide and it looks like most cardholders have received this promotion, if you haven’t it always worth calling Citi to ask if you can have this offer applied to your account as well. I think in 2015 we will be seeing a lot more of these on going spending bonuses to encourage people to make cards top of wallet, which is great for educated consumers.
