Our Verdict
We’ve posted about both of these offers before, but every now and then new people are targeted for both offers so this is a gentle reminder to double check if you haven’t already. Before applying for either card, make sure you read these things everybody should know about American Express cards.
Any recent data points of being able to get the 75K offer via Incognito/VPN? I am not targeted via either methods, but really want this 75K offer
I received the 75,000 for $10,000 spend, applied online and was approved.
I dont have any other AMEX cards.
What is the best other AMEX card I should apply for today since it will be a combined transaction?
Depends what your goals are, the Blue Cash cards have increased bonuses at the moment so if you can get $450 on either of those and have use for the 10% back at Amazon I’d grab one of those.

Ugh. I’m dumb. I assumed because I could see the offer I was targeted. Then when I log in I get the error message. Was really hoping to get in on this.

I had the 50k offer, no language restriction ‘offer not for people who had this card in past” (i had closed mine in 2013)……so i applied, printed offer terms as proof, card approved, bonus denied, complained to executive team who blatantly refused to honor the offer terms despite offer terms clearly showing no such language………am in a dilemma what should i do………….complain to CFPB or just suck it up and let go?
ANY SUGGESTIONS?………………I have nothing to lose if i complain……………very confusing….
What did they say when you complained to executive team? CFPB complaint is probably your next step.
The executive office lady kept saying ‘This offer is not for repeat customers” and they have to be fair to all etc etc bullcrap.
said i have sent the offer terms not having any such language that she had in front of her while talking but she was still not ready to accept, and kept giving stupid excuses………..and refused to honor the offer terms despite my faxed pages that that blind b*%Ch had in front of her………..
Well, CFPB it is then………….how do i file it, do i select credit card and then follow instructions?

I did CPFB, Amex Still will not honor the promotion saying same story ‘Offer not available to prior cardholders’ even though my OFFER TERMS HAS no such language restriction and I’ve faxed these pages both to AMEX and CPFB.
Any suggestions what to do now?
I’d wait for the CFPB to follow up again, maybe file another complaint with the BBB and your State’s AG.
Sorry, do not mean to rub it in, but i got my 3rd time bonus yesterday for 50k points…(2011, 2014 and now)……..How/why? Do not know, guess got lucky/YMMV!!!!!!!!!!
Does Amex go by your social security # or your business tax id #
in determining whether you received the bonus or not?

I could see the first offer for 75k without logging in, and I also don’t see the once per lifetime language. I have had this card before too. When I login for the short application I get the system down error.
Yeah, should probably work even if you’ve already got the bonus in the past.

My qualification for the Targeted Offer #1 ended 9/30. As for the Targeted Offer #2, I only see the 25k unless I go incognito, then it becomes 50k. I don’t see the 75K.
How do I get myself targeted for this? I really want the card!
Just be lucky, or you can try to log in for the other offer.
