Amazon has a terrific Prime Day offer to get Bose wired headphones for just $125 (affiliate link here and below). This is one of the most popular deals trending on Amazon as well as for our readers.
Earlier today we discovered that when Amazon applies the 20% off MR discount they often use the original price instead of the discounted price, thus offering an even greater discount. Reader Tyler points out that this is working for the Bose headphones as well.

The ironic result is that the Bose for Apple device which has a $279 regular price ends up a good bit cheaper than the Bose for Android device which has a regular price of $198. (Both have list price of $299.) Since Amazon is calculating the 20% discount based on the regular price, they’re giving a $55.80 discount off the Bose-Apple price and a $39.60 discount off the Bose-Android price.

This is quite a deal even at $125. If you’re lucky to still have the 20% off available, it becomes really incredible. This deal has been ongoing for many hours now, hopefully it lasts through Prime Day, though I don’t think that’s certain given the amount of attention it’s gotten.
