[YMMV] 7-Eleven App: Free 30 Day Sparkle Pass (One Car Wash & Drink Per Day)

The Offer

No direct link to offer, shows up in app

  • 7-Eleven app is offering a free 30 day Sparkle Pass

Our Verdict

More information on Sparkle Pass here. Provides a free car wash every day and free drink I think? This enrolls you into auto billing and you’ll be charged $29.99 per month so remember to cancel. Can’t imagine getting my car washed this frequently.

When looking at the app fo the free trial for the car wash, it doesn’t mention anything about the free drinks? Am I missing something or is it automatically included and doesn’t show in the app. I even updated the app as well

No car wash near me. Anyone know if I can do this and just get the free drink per day?

I signed up yesterday. The app shows that I currently have 30 day, not 1 day, free trial.

Looks like the trial is clarified to last for 30 days in the app now. Also, this probably doesn’t need to be YMMV as there’s a physical sign at the carwash advertising the 30 day trial.

The free drink isn’t activated until the car wash is redeemed, not sure what happens if you buy a car wash and don’t drive into the bay.

7-11 has a carwash? I’ve never seen one.

But when I checked out with the free 30 days, I got an email saying I got a one day pass. Cancelled right away

Got the same thing. Says a 30 day trial and then says it’s gonna charge on September 9th… Bait and switch?!

I think it’s just poor communication on their part, but you could always use a virtual card with a $1.00 limit to prevent this.

$1 limit? Only bank I could think of allowing virtual cards with those kinds of limits was Citi and with their new update they pretty much made them useless by forcing three year expirations and $25 being the lowest limit, some people are claiming theyre eveb being charged on deactivated numbers

Privacy.com allows $1 limits, also single use cards. Also Bill.com (formerly Divvy) to similar effect.

Be careful when using virtual cards on trial offers like this. There are ways the vendor can push a charge through on a virtual card even if it’s closed.

Prepaid cards with low balances are your best bet
