The Fine Print

Our Verdict
This offer is actually great, at first I thought it was just an extra 1% back per dollar spent but it actually doubles all the money you earn from Chase offers. I suspect most readers won’t have this card, but some might have picked it up for the 0% APY $0 BT offer.

This is a non offer. My wife got it and not one single offer ever appears in her account. My account which gets offers of course didn’t get offered this deal. This is why Chase sucks.
Can someone tell me if one can write checks to himself and then deposit them to his checking account without any fees, as a part of the 0% BT on this card?
Yes, you can do a balance transfer to a checking account that isn’t at the same institution in most cases, as long of course they send you the bt checks in the mail.. I don’t know if you can do it online from Chase’s site anymore when signing up…
I suggest that you actually check what kinds of checks your bank does and does not accept. Some don’t accept bt checks. Some don’t accept them unless they’re from you. I know capital one and discover accept them.
Regarding the fees part, you’ll want to do it asap when you get those checks. I believe the transfer takes more than a week to post in slate, and you only have a limited time for it to post with 0% 0 fees

Same here. but I have not used it in stores / online in years unlike other ones.
Chase slate has no rewards at all in the first place. Chase are you desperate that you want more people to use their credit cards to get into debt following rewards that are wiped out but simply one statement when not paying the card balance in full. Comon now. Stop the B.S and encouraging people to buy stuff they don’t need or can’t afford in the first place.
