Our Verdict
You can pay with PayPal and earn 5% with the Chase Freedom this quarter as well. There is also a Chase offer for $25 back when you spend $150+. These require a BJ”s membership to purchase, you canbuy online-only membership for just $10. Try using a portal for a bit of rewards/cashback, though I’m unsure if that tracks on gift card purchases.
Hat tip to GC Galore
The Disney gift cards also come in $500 denomination for $469.99. For anyone taking a Disney cruise or visiting parks, you can apply the gift card to your cruise fare, onboard charges, theme park resort stay, tickets, food, etc. Simple way to save 6% on a vacation. I bought 2 and now I’m thinking I should have bought more.
I shopped through the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal. It states that points are not earned on gift card purchases but it can’t hurt to try. In the past, Disney gift cards fell under the category of “entertainment” instead of “gift card” at Target which allowed people to buy Disney gift cards and pay with a Target gift card which normally is not allowed.
I was in BJ’s today buying and CSR mentioned to me that the $100 VGC are on sale at $95. I was in a rush and did not look into it any further.
Will this stack with Ebates/Rakuten 10% CB 10x MR at BJs? (In top of $25 Chase offer).
Any DP I know it states no GC but was wondering if any DP on successful
TIA
Don’t think so
I have tried a few with no luck
Thanks
I did earn cashback (Membership Rewards points) through Rakuten back in June on a series of transactions, then it stopped working after that. But I’m giving it a whirl today anyhow. -PDX Rob
Last night I tested ebates and honey. No payout on ebates but at 10% it was worth a try. Honey did track with 1% pending, but we’ll see what happens.
It tracks in ebates as $0.00 purchase with $0 Cash Back 🙁 & I just received an email that my card have shipped. Hopefully I get the $25.00 back on my Chase Business Cards.
Look for 25 off 150 at BJs offer on Chase business cards. I got it on both ink and United.
Thanks Harry the 1st, We too found it on both our Ink Cash Bz cards, and double-thanks to your tip, on my spouse’s United Bz…. (which now gets pulled out of the proverbial sock drawer) 🙂
Today I used this at BJS, buying a $300 VGC with $15 in groceries and applied the $15 off 250 coupon that BJ’s had sent to my email and somehow I looked in spam folder and found it there (need to be printed, no specific restriction that it should not be used on GCs). The coupon did not beep and came off nicely and asked to split the payment between the two cards. So nice $65 profit for a small $5.95 VGC fee. I was hoping for reduced/0 fee on the black One Vanillas but they do not appear to be doing it this year – at least not yet.
creating a new bjs online account gives you that day to purchase for free without membership just did 2, $25 offers without paying membership.
4 more to go
Uber is sold out…
I was able to add one to my order just now.
Available now. They are also enforcing the limit of 3 this time. I will try to place another order and see how it goes.
I have received “order received” and “order confirmed” emails on multiple orders
I bought 2, then about an hour later bought 2 more and both orders shipped.
Tempted to get that $10 membership. I have $25 off $100 on two cards. Thanks.
BJs is pretty liberal with trail memberships….look around in local flyers, newspapers, coupon packets, etc…they have 30, 60 and 90 day trial memberships which will allow you to use the offers to either buy grocery or GCs and you dont have to join if you don’t like it.
