[Targeted] Capital One: Free Gift Basket For Some Savor Cardholders

Capital One has sent out a free gift basket to some Capital One Savor cardholders. It’s not clear how Capital One is deciding who gets these gift baskets (I’m also not too sure what they contain. If you got one take a picture and share it in the comments below).

Anyone know what the thing is with the telescoping arm and the little brush? I can’t figure out what it is!

It is a reusable straw with brush to clean it.

Just received my box, truly appreciate the note, snacks, 2 different coffee bags, coffee tumbler and free coffee card for the cafe. Not sure where I can upload the pic.

I just received a white box from Capital One Cafe which caught me off guard for the following reasons:

1) Totally unexpected, although I read DoC daily this must have slipped my mind.
2) My mailing address is a PO Box, they sent it via FedEx 2nd day air to my physical address.
3) Products I have with Capital One are savings account with $5 balance and basic checking $55 balance. No credit card or other products.
4) I am a frequent Capital One Cafe customer as I enjoy Peets coffee, 50% discount with Capital One debit card AND they have a punchcard.

I received one of these items just moments ago and couldn’t figure out why – I have been banking with them since 2013. I have a two credit cards and a savings account with a decent amount in there. Haven’t been to a cafe location in about a year though. I appreciate the thought, free snacks and coffee!

I just received the gift box in the mail today. I have been going to the café over the last few years when I been in the area. I think this why they sent it to me. I have the Quicksilver card going on 10 years.

My guess was Cafe visits plus some minimum threshold in savings. My checking/savings are through Capital One but I only use the credit card for coffee at the Cafe (which I did several times pre-pandemic). My box had a mug, two bags of coffee, and a bunch of high end snacks as shown in photo below.

My local Cap One Cafe was my favorite place to work pre-pandemic (I’ve been remote for years) so getting this box out of nowhere legit felt like a thoughtful surprise from a friend. (Though since the cafe is NOT my actual friend I was also confused, hence searching online for a “why” and finding this thread.)

I just got one and I only have Capital One 360 checking and a bunch of savings accounts.. and it held my house downpayment money until I closed on my house in September. Same as below – tumbler, coffee, snacks. Says “from your Capital One Cafe” in the box, and I can confirm zubair below — I’ve been to the Capital One Cafe more often than I’d like to admit! Fun surprise though.
