Frontier & Landing Launch Nomad Pass – Flights & Accomodation ($1,495 Per Month)

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Frontier and Landing have launched a Nomad pass that is a combination of the Frontier GoWild! Pass and Landing Standby PLUS. Nomad pass costs $1,495 per month. Excludes accommodation in New York & California

Our Verdict

The main downside is that if a regular standby members book the apartment you’re staying in, you have three days to move (you don’t pay the $150 cleaning fee in this instance). When I was younger I could see this being very appealing, I think the reality would be that this ends up being a nightmare having to move when you don’t necessarily want to.

If you’re on a budget and travel light or have a brain that can do math, frontier is a viable option. Just go on the flight knowing, you have to pay fees for everything beyond a lawn chair on a plane.

I don’t know about this specific pass, but flying frontier is fine. People need to stop trashing on the airline just because they had a bad experience for “surprise” fees that frontier is very clear about.

I am not a frontier plant.

Whoever pay Frontier more than $100 is “NoBrain”, not Nomad

If this is unlimited flights AND unlimited accommodations for $1500/month, that’d be a good deal. But surely there are significant additional costs here, because that doesn’t sound profitable for either company.

It’s both (with some additional fees on the Frontier side per booking), but you are subject to being kicked out of the unit with a 3 day notice. Cleaning fees apply if you move of your own volition, also no parking for most units

This is “standby tier” for landing, which basically means you get to stay in unused accommodations’ for $1500 a month. The upside is you are paying less than their market rate (which can be like $4k a month in some cities) the downside is that a full member can reserve your place and kick you out. Landing can do it because the rooms would be vacant otherwise, so it could make sense for a very specific type of individual… lots of ways it could end up sucking too.

Another scam in the name of pass. Pay tons of money and then pay half of the ticket price. I would choose discount den which offers $50 voucher at this for enrolling.
